the trees:

as most of you all know, we got two trees this year. the main thing i wanted for christmas last year were some big, colored, C-9 bulbs for the tree. little did i know we'd have a little one that would be so entertained by them. good thing we got 2 trees, tho. those C-9's are a little tacky (i LOVE them, don't get me wrong, but i see why they fell out of favor with the general population). anyway, we did a pretty tree in the dining room and kept the family one in the living room. i'm sure the neighbors all appreciate seeing those big, flashy (literally, they flash) bulbs from their own quiet living rooms.
