teresa summed it up best when she said, 'this was a lot cooler when it was just a legend.' we saw our resident bear last night, and he was HUGE. i was just getting a drink of water from the fridge around 9:30, looked out the window, and there he was. i assumed he'd be a little bigger than a great dane, but no way. much, much bigger. and i found out this morning that he just attacked an alpaca last month. i thought we were moving to connecticut, not south dakota circa 1843. i should have a low quality video of his butt headed to the neighbor's yard posted in the next day or so. in the meantime, check out this report:
