Eva's Baptism

the baptism was nov 9, so the blog is a little out of order. i apologize. after the first of the year, we should be back on track with regular posts (and in chronological order).

of course, we had cake:

and appetizers (that's ok DURING the ceremony, right?). what's that silly hat for, you may ask? just wait:

then she got dunked. poor thing was sound asleep when father joe decided it was her turn. a rude awakening, for sure!

then came the oil. and more oil. it must be pretty cheap stuff the way he was slathering it on...

now comes time for the goofy hat's purpose - to cover up the oil, of course! thanks, amanda and greg, for being godparents.
