since i'm so far behind with posting at this point, i figured we'd just start with the most recent adventure and just forget about the holidays.
we headed over to a local salon for kids (yes, they have those in connecticut) for eva's first haircut. she had a blast! she was such a good girl (no surprise there). all the other kids were crying, but as soon as miss liz gave her an animal cracker, eva was good to go.
she's a little apprehensive in this picture:

but then she discovered the prize machine (still pre-haircut):

we played a little peek-a-boo while waiting:

time for business (LOOK AT THAT LITTLE CHAIR!):

mouth full of cookies:

miss liz working on a bow:

"WOW! COOKIES!" was still the reaction after about 15 of them:

then relaxing at home with her newly styled 'do:

before you freak out, kristine, that's not her drink. it was mine. and it was empty by the time she got it. she still finds it endlessly entertaining to play with empty cups containing straws:

Oh my gosh Teresa!! She's so cute!! And good for you for taking her to get her hair cut-I know that's hard for a lot of Moms.
Glad you called us today at work!! :)
ok, I SERIOUSLY got a little shaky when I saw that picture. not even kidding.
she's adorable, btw!

She is too cute! What a cute haircut! I've been debating with myself to do the same with Lydia...I don't know why it's so hard to take that first step to the salon! :p
Please note the fun and attractive polka dot pink chair to which Eva seems attached! Happy to see she has learned to sit and no longer tries to climb up the back (and fall into the xmas tree!)
